Part of Olympic National Park, Rialto Beach sits at the northwest corner of our contiguous United States. The Pacific here is cold and often unruly. It's the habitat of many varieties of salmon who make their way to higher ground via rivers and streams that empty into waters here and farther north.

This beach is known for it's outcroppings but the evening this image was made, the sun and clouds were the main attraction.
