Goodbye Verona
I say goodbye to the north central region of Italy with this view of the Verona Arena during the early evening passeggiata. The Arena is the third largest built by the Romans and is still in use today, primarily for the summer opera series. Completed around 30 AD, the interior is impressive and is virtually intact. On to Venice!
